With the Northwest mom's, it was a pitch perfect slice of Santa Barbara living; big room, plush robes, complementary cruiser bikes for an evening ride along the beach to the best seafood happy hour recommended by the
front desk
.

A friendly person at the
front desk
explained that it had to do with it being an old building and that there was nothing they could do about it.

front desk
staff was inconsistent (a couple of requests we made for items to be delivered to our room were seemingly ignored until we called again a couple of hours later to follow up).

I called the
front desk
and was told by the
front desk
staff, in a very annoyed manner, to 'put up with it for 5 more minutes.

The word is that the

Called the
front desk
and when I repeated that I had been told the room was quiet and sound proofed, the person at the other end repeated that it is sound proof.
