3. I am not trying to be an elitist, but I have been to those little type Parisian hotels, where there are beautiful antiques in each room, croissants, homemade jam and cappuccino for breakfast.

9. Would definitely recommend a room with a fireplace if your going during the colder months and also ask for a top floor room as we moved from our second floor location due to the ceiling above use creaking noisily every time the occupants above us walked across their floor.

10. For a small extra (which was refunded later - for reasons I'll mention shortly) we were offered a room on the ground floor (#16), which had much more light but was frozen (the fireplace couldn't do the trick), and noisy - the sound of people walking over our heads on the wooden floors or the showers they took have woken us every day at 5AM.
