My husband an I spent a week last March while I was attending a conference and it was a great retreat to get back to after all our walks to Chinatown (walking distance), Lombard
Street
and we even walked to take the Ferry to Alcatraz.

Parking rates here are as exorbitant as at the Mark Hopkins, but here there is a parking lot across the
street
which is much cheaper, but it has no in and out possibilities at night.

is much better and we've had that view 2 times during our stays.
