5. The bathroom was nice and very clean, but very small compared to other urban hotels I've stayed in and there wasn't a toilet paper holder in the bathroom.

7. The room at the Marriott was larger and nicer with better quality showerhead than the Intercontinental and we'd likely stay at either hotel again but really preferred the Marriott for the room size and nicer, newer bathroom.

8. Even Navy Pier is not too far- Room was very clean (we had a King Executive with pull-out couch)- Bathroom was very clean, albeit small- Staff were very helpful at all times (see below)- The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were new and nice lookingCons:- They must have broken elevators.

The hotel staff greeted us effusively upon arrival, provided us with recommendations for excellent restaurants (we were faminished), and got us into EXACTLY the kind of room we had requested: Awesome view, quiet surroundings, enormously comfortable king size bed, excellent bathroom, and soothing air-conditioning.
