1. Reasonable cost by the Magnificent Mile standards, the Marriott Downtown stands above other near by hotels by having a restaurant / bar area that allows one to actually eat and sip a beverage without being consistently bothered by others looking for companionship.

5. 20 minutes to the Museum Campus with direct buses from Magnificent MileHotel itself - wireless costs $14.95 for 24hrs but surprisingly they advised me to just use the lobby area as its wireless was free.

9. They have wi-fi for a cost (if you are Marriott Rewards Platinum you don't pay--not sure if that applies to Gold as well), but I have yet to see a hotel that gives it away for free.

10. You are in easy walking distance to so many great restaurants/shopping and cabs are always available out front in Cab or car service from O'Hare will set you back about $50 so factor that into your overall cost.
