4. One important note for light sleepers: while exterior walls were heavier and noise from the outside was not too bad, this hotel is just across Washington Circle from GW Hospital's Emergency room entrance, and we did periodically hear sirens.

8. As you'd expect in the city, there's a fair amount of traffic in the area, and with most rooms having balconies, the sliding doors aren't sound proofed, so the noise level can get elevated.
