1. There used to be a turndown service with a chocolate left on your pillow, I guess it's one of those things that by removing it has removed alot of cost by not needing housekeeping at that time of day.

7. Getting to and from the hotel from Reagan Airport is about a 15 min cab ride, and costs $20 with a tip.

9. The in-house restaurant is supposedly quite good, but breakfast is an extra charge and the room service rates are mind-bogglingly expensive (a cheeseburger and two beers delivered to your room will cost you $40 .

10. Although we didn't do it, I would imagine that having the ability to make breakfast in your room, or lunch and dinners, would save money on dinning cost what the hotel cost.
