4. The locale of the hotel is excellent - right across the street from the International Market (runs between Kalakaua Avenue and Kuhio Avenue), literally a 10 minute walk from the beaches of Waikiki.

6. TIP: If you want to park 6 blocks away, the Banyan Hotel straight down heading south on Kuhio & Ohua street has a huge multi level parking garage with security that charges only $10.00 per 24 hours.

7. from the bars and people on the streets right up to the garbage truck collection every morning to collect all those beer bottles that you hear being thrown in the dumpster in that morning hour clean up.
