1. All during our stay, we dealt with the frustration of door keys that didn't work properly, really slow elevators, noisy air conditioners (although it WAS cool!), and having to park far away from the hotel.

2. They told us to park next door in another hotel's underground parking, so naturally i assumed i was paying something extra, and eagerly checked in on parking in their lot, which was in the back of the hotel in a dodgey lot, and assumedly free.

3. If you have a rental car, you can try to park on ala moana for free, but be careful of the signs that say you can't park during certain hours because of street cleaning.

9. Parking lot accommodates about 10 cars, so obviously was full when we got there, so expect to park 2 blocks down.

10. TIP: If you want to park 6 blocks away, the Banyan Hotel straight down heading south on Kuhio & Ohua street has a huge multi level parking garage with security that charges only $10.00 per 24 hours.
