2. I got a pre-paid good price on it, but I had problems relaxing with the random banging noises.

3. The only downside (to be expected in a circa 1928 hotel is the small rooms, fair mount of noise and most bothersome is the water changing drastic temperatures when showering from others in the hotel flushings toilets etc.

4. Unlike other people, my room was always clean (and cleaned very nicely every day), the beds were pretty comfortable, the lights made weird noises (yes, that frightened me once), and the water never stayed at the same temperature (I learned, after a couple of days, to move away from the shower if I heard another toilet flushing in another room.

5. stay away from this hotel if you want to have a good night of sleep, I heard weird noises all night and couldn't sleep.

6. There was a brief period one night when my wife complained of hearing noise from the neighbors (I myself was out at the time) but that was it; neither of us ever noticed any disturbance whatsoever the entire rest of the time.

7. Being an old hotel, there are a lot of creaks and noises all the time.

8. There are louvers over the door mean that you hear every noise in the hallway (the walls are so thin that I could hear the phone conversations from across the hallway).
