1. The location is great and overall, it was what I expect from a Kimpton hotel, but the Palomar has decor that is very dark to the point of being a bit cave-like for my taste.

3. At a minimum - the hotel has a fantastic location in Dupont Circle, the design and decor is exceptional, the rooms and public areas are always very clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the room service is fantastic (great food, on-time, well presented).

4. It started from the first -- namely unloading the car and not a single person tried to help us (even though we had many bags and the car was awkwardly parked in the road and the traffic was not great).

5. If you like dogs, you will find a great place -- but if you don't like dogs, watch out as there were dogs all throughout the hotel.
