1. Prior to this, we saw an officer with a loudspeaker driving down the street telling prostitutes to move along, as well as endless noisy crowds screaming, yelling, laughing and generally being drunk well into the wee hours of the morning.

3. It's a very old building, and the lobby and mezzanine are decorated in orate wood carvings in the support pillars and just a general feel of walking into a hotel from around 1915.
