1. I travel a fair amount and the Montvale impressed me for attentive servbice, really attractive and comfortable surroundings, and a unique 'feel' during the visit: No chain hotel, this.

3. When I brought this all to the attention of the "manager" ( he told me he was the manager, but I don't think he was), he said, "we bring you the room service as a courtesy".

4. All in all, this hotel could be so much better with improved management and better attention to details, but then again, what hotel couldn't.

5. The owner truly cares about his property and it shows from the wonderful coffee and cookies provided in the lobby (also unique, warm, and spacious) to the attentive staff.
