1. If you want luxury surroundings, and a better downtown location, go to the Davenport Hotel instead.

4. I realize you get what you pay for and my bid was approximately $30 less than the going rate but considering the hotel was relatively empty, would have thought there were a few better room options they could have given us to tempt us to come back.

5. But if you have a vehicle and are a little flexible as to location, there are much, much better options from other Hilton brands in Spokane.

7. We'd probably look into a Holiday Inn next time as we've had better luck with them in terms of value and up-to-date digs.
