4. I have focussed on the staff and deservedly so, as they couldn't have been more genuinely interested in ensuring your stay in the hotel and Santa Barbara was excellent.

5. We had initially planned to stay only 2 days in Santa Barbara but due to the quality of the accommodation and especially the excellent staff we stayed an extra day (would probably have stayed longer had we not been on a tight schedule for the rest of our journey).

6. Location is excellent, 2 blocks back there is an excellent micro brewery, one of the reasons for our return to the hotel.

7. As I said this is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, last time we had a nice room on a high floor at the back of the hotel which was excellent, but we had no such luck this time, under the stairs next to the laundry so it was very hot, no air con just a ceiling fan.

9. The hotel is located in an excellent location, by the beach, between the 2 piers, and at walking distance from the main street, where the historical locations, stores, bars and cafes are.
