2. This is one of the most beautiful hotels in Santa Barbara - the view of the ocean and the Spanish architecture makes this a wonderful and relaxing way to spend time in Santa Barbara.

5. All of our staff encounters were great and gave us wonderful suggestions for 'local eats' (which are not on State Street) as to where the staff likes to order take out.

6. )The walk into the centre of town along the beachfront road is very pleasant and lined with with wonderful flowers, palm trees etc.

7. The room was huge and furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs, and had a large terrace with table, chairs, sunloungers and a wonderful view across to the sea with passing joggers, dog walkers etc to watch.
