5. Our room, a deluxe double, was pleasant and bright with French doors to an abbreviated balcony bringing in lots of light and an openable, small window allowing in more of the fresh Santa Barbara air.

7. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, the food in the restaurant was amazing, a nice wine list in the bar, and while the rooms were on the smaller side they made up for it with nice amenities and decor.
