4. Located one block of State Street, which is one of the main shopping and restaurant areas, the Canary is one of the best down-town hotels and is fairly reasonably priced.

5. Right off the main drag of the town, some of SB's best restaurants are a mere walking distance away and you're able to get a real bird's eye view of the city.

8. However, the bar/lounge, which has a whole area of great booths, a fantastic menu of libations and completely delicious bar food (best macaroni and cheese ever), was a lovely spot and we ended up eating there both nights running.
