2. The room did have an air conditioner, but the weather was very cool in the evening so I wanted to take advantage of the fresh air and not use it, and just stuck with the ceiling fan.

4. The 2nd night we had to stay in the cozy living room to cool down a bit (this was unusually warm weather for Santa Barbara, but what is this room like in summer?) We were also kept awake until after 1AM by the gentleman in the room next door talking on his cell phone.

5. Also, the breakfast area is not large (and in January it was too cool to breakfast outside) so some guests had difficulty finding a table and even cleaned up after earlier guests to secure a table.

7. We really liked being right on the garden with a private tiny deck of our own (unfortunatly it was too cool to really enjoy in January but in warmer months would have taken our breakfast there to eat); we would not have been happy having to navigate thru all the cars parked on the property to reach our room in another less central location.

9. The bed has a great pillow top mattress with down pillows and a real down comforter just lite enough to keep one toasty during the gloriously cool evening.
