1. And of course the pool (probably the warmest pool we swam in in Cal) has a big screen by it for their Wednesday night Dive-Ins and other events (we were there for a documentary).

Offers the value of a budget boutique with the service and amenities of a more upscale property/PROSComfortable, nice-sized rooms (the fish in the room is a great touch)Free wi-fi and music docks etcGreat restaurant with friendly serviceSurprisingly great toiletries for a value hotelCONSImpractical suggestion but an elevator would have been great (especially carrying big bags after a long day)Facility to get hot water to make coffee (had to get down to the reception and came back with a cup of steaming water).

9. Of course we didn't expect an upscale 5 star bathroom from The Pearl, but there was cracks in the tile with dirty grout, rust and dirt on what looked like a new faucet, permanent stains around the toilet, a weird glob of something on the wall, a big orange/brown spot on the shower curtain that looked strange along with many other dirty spots, and a bathtub with a filthy floor and cracks all through out.
"Dirty Bathroom Killed Experience " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/13/2011 Vote
10. The room was just big enough as we tend to be out more than we stay in.
