2. Location is great - the hotel backs onto the Seaport Village which is a lovely little area to potter around in and has a gorgeous marina to enjoy in the sunshine.

3. The Manchester Grand Hyatt is another great San Diego hotel with a conference center - right on the bay, with gorgeous views of the water.

5. Lastly, the pool is gorgeous, but it is extremely windy in the pool area - more than when you leave the hotel, which makes swimming a bit challenging because of the chilly air.

9. We were there on the husband's business in December during a 'cold snap' when the temperatures were in the mid-sixties, so we didn't make use of the pool, but thought it was gorgeous.
