8. This is the grande dame of San Diego, well-located if you don't care about being on the water or having a view of it (at least from the 'suite' we stayed in, despite having written ahead to request the 'best view'--looked directly into another building, no street or skyline or water visible).

9. One thing you have to be careful of is they apparently have motion sensors in the bar fridge, so don't even pull the little bottles out or you may be paying for them.

10. I had an issue arise across the street at the Westin Horton Plaza that I brought up during my stay, and they took care of resolving the issue in a professional manner and I felt treated like a valuable spg member.
