1. It's ideal if you're driving and on a budget as it's just off the highway, with free parking and only a couple of minutes walk to Market Square or a five/ten minute walk to the riverside.

2. The free parking is a great asset, especially as there is a frequently trolley service into the Riverwalk and connecting to the main sights within San Antonio so you can leave the car and let someone else do the driving.

5. They also offered a free shuttle bus to drive you to the Riverwalk area most evenings between 5 and 9:30pm (except Sunday) that you could call to come and pick you up whenever you were ready.

6. Originally we were debating between staying at this location or the Holiday Inn located in the Riverwalk area, but ultimately chose this one because it offered free parking which was a huge savings since we were there an number of nights.

7. Kind of like a meal I would expect for free at Hampton, La Quinta, or the 100 other similar brands that have free breakfast, so Poo Poo to you priority club for taking this away from us.
