The bath tub suggests that it is an older hotel (nothing wrong with the tub, that's just the part of the room hotels are least
like
ly to change during a remodel).

On a positive note, when I told the front desk about the toilet, they were very appreciative of being told and acted
like
they would get right on it.

What I didn't
like
: 1) room prices - my aunt book 1 day before us and the same size room but hers was $119 and ours $139.

What I
liked
: convenient to downtown sights and free parking, plus a good variety at the free breakfast, the bathroom was attractive and nicely designed.

The room we stayed in was obviously just painted because it smelled
like
paint, other than the paint, there did not seem to be any other renovations.
"A nice place to stay, but rooms could have been cleaner and the renovations were not that great. "

this occurs.

The location actually was around a 5 minute walk from the Riverwalk, so the potential is good, but they'd have to change a lot (
like
flatten it) to make me stay there again.
