3. The staff at the hotel was friendly and attentive, including banquet staff and my housekeeper, who has been on the job for 17 years and loves her work.

4. My only small disappointment (and I mean really silly picky small) was that the evening food service in the concierge level lounge was only 'OK to good', and not 'good to excellent' as comparable Marriott properties elsewhere (though the staff there was very attentive).

And that level of attention was evident everywhere from the concierge to the maid service to maintenance (who arrived twice during my stay to tend to a problem I didn't know I had - the maids had reported that my 'on-demand' movie channel, which I never use anyway, had less than perfect quality).
