4. best advise would be to use a credit card when checking in and make sure to double check your itemized bill upon checkout.

5. It's not the lively main thoroughfare (it's best to walk street-level, about 4 blocks to get there) - but that was probably good because we wanted some peace and quiet.

6. Valet parking is really your best option when staying here, as there were some questionable characters roaming around the area, and I wouldn't feel safe leaving my vehicle in a normal open lot.

7. I've been back and forwards to San Antonio a decent amoutn over the last year for business and the Contessa was the best hotel Ive stayed in yet.
