1. THe hotel is old and they are currently renovating the top floor (6th) so hopefully they do all of them and get the place fixed up and new furniture and beds in it.

4. This time, there was a woman at the front desk, so I showed her my military dependent ID card, which *thankfully* has hubby's name on it as well, and she gave me a new key card.

The second was the Holiday Inn Express on new Bern--clean rooms, but the woman who checked us in exceeded rude and nasty (everyone else seemed pleasant), the area was a bit seedy, and the 'famous' HIExpress 'hot' breakfast during the week was Jimmy Dean Sausage Biscuits and a microwave--as well as the wonderful HI Express cinnamon rolls.
