1. The rooms are a little dated, but the big waterpik showerhead had great pressure and everything was very clean.

2. It's not fancy or super updated, but it's clean, the rooms are big - they kindly upgraded me to a room with a kitchenette, and the staff is friendly - the breakfast staff in particular went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

3. Fortunately PDX doesn't handle that much traffic between 11pm and 6am but there is a big rush of departures shortly after 6am so plan on rising early if jet noise bothers you.

8. The sinks and vanity in the rooms are actually outside the bathroom in this hotel, and the light over the vanity is this big honkin' florecent thing, so if anyone else is sleeping in the room and you want to brush your teeth or shave, wash up, etc.
