1. We took a weekend trip to Portland with friends for no particular reason, and they suggested the historic Heathman.

6. Since I only live a short distance from the hotel, and rarely find a reason to spend a night downtown, I won't be able to visit as often as I would like, but my entire family lives out of town, and I will recommend the Heathman to them when they are in town for a visit.
