6. It's 'on the wrong side of the tracks'; that is, there are lots of street people around and there isn't much to do within 4-5 blocks except the convention center.

9. There are extensive renovations going on and the hotel lobby is gutted except for the front desk, a table and couple of chairs.

10. While my wife and I would recommend this hotel because of it's exceptional staff, cleanliness, and amenities, we do not plan to ever stay here again if we are in Philadelphia because of the not-so-safe location.
