1. We stayed on the 5th floor (out of 10) and didn't have any problems with noise from above, below or from the rooms next door which was very nice.

7. I asked for a room on a higher floor knowing that construction was going on across the street, and the noise became my makeshift alarm clock every morning.

9. At first we thought they were working on the heating system because of all the banging and noise, but after looking out the window we could see the garbage truck parked right underneath and was rolling bins out of a doorway and emptying on truck.

10. It may be as early as 6 am and you might get lucky and avoid noise until 8 am but the noise will happen.
