We stayed on the 5th floor (out of 10) and didn't have any problems with
noise
from above, below or from the rooms next door which was very nice.

The only objectionable
noise
was apparently from the giant A/C units on the building opposite one day while we were there.

I am somewhat of a light sleeper and generally sleep through most

I asked for a room on a higher floor knowing that construction was going on across the street, and the
noise
became my makeshift alarm clock every morning.

At first we thought they were working on the heating system because of all the banging and
noise
, but after looking out the window we could see the garbage truck parked right underneath and was rolling bins out of a doorway and emptying on truck.

It may be as early as 6 am and you might get lucky and avoid
noise
until 8 am but the
noise
will happen.
