1. The hotel rooms were spacious, most of the staff were friendly and were there to help,with pizza hut within the hotels, was about 5 minutes from lots of different food places, which was generally cheaper then eating from the hotel, offered a free shuttle to the theme parks which run every 30 minutes.

2. The hotel website actually had the rate of 400 no fridge or microwave so I called the hotel and they told me to book the cheaper room but put in the notes what we wanted.

3. If you walk the other way from the hotel there is the Crossroads shopping area with many restaurants, fast food joints and a supermarket (although this supermarket caters mainly to tourists, if you have a car or don't mind walking for 20 minutes, then turn left when exiting Disney here and continue straight down this road and you will find a Winn Dixies which is much bigger and cheaper.

4. Still and again, this was cheaper than paying the $14 per day to park at Disney.

5. We could 'trade up' for the buffet for an extra $6 per person; we did this one day; definitely should NOT have as the buffet was pretty crappy, plus, only one beverage allowed; if we wanted both juice and coffee, it was extra (something we didn't quite get since we got both with the cheaper, 'free' breakfast).

6. Oh and maybe a mile in the opposite direction of Downtown Disney, there is an IHop, huge gift store that was a ton cheaper than buying souveniers at Disney, and many other restaurants and fast food places.

9. Do not get roped into cheaper tickets in exchange for spending time in a time share sales meeting, it will not be worth it.

10. I've been in much nicer bathrooms at cheaper hotels, but I've also been in much, much worse.
