1. The pool was very large but not very deep and very warm, 104 deg F which meant it was comfortable to gt into but didnt cool you off.

2. I had always thought of the Royal Pacific as the 'least' of the 3 hotels; the Portofino is the most luxurious, the Hard Rock is the cool hotel (I can't believe I'm actually saying that), and the Royal Pacific, I assumed, was just sort of the third hotel.

3. The cool part was that the place had a little secret lagoon thing near the pool with sand and a little beach that my mom could sit at and read the paper or something because it was quiet.

5. Lots of games for the kids to compete in, they brought us icy towels to cool down with and frozen grapes to snack on.

6. C'mon, is it really going to kill them to let you work out for free when you are paying $400 per night for a tiny room and spending a fortune on food and drinks in the hotel?????? Not cool at all.

9. They also had nice glass containers of iced water with lemon and cups by the pool so you could self serve if you wanted a cool drink.
