The bathroom had a
beautiful
black marble sink, with antique faucet handles and the toilet had the tank suspended from the wall, in a very turn-of-the-century kind of way.

With it's old world characteristics,
beautiful
garden oasis, and wonderful southern hospitality it feels like you really experienced New Orleans without having to leave your hotel.

Unfortunately during my stay the a/c broke down (these things happen) , but I along with the other guests at the hotel were offered accommodation at the St Louis (sister hotel) for NO extra charge AND I was given a
beautiful
, large room facing a secluded courtyard.

They readily accommodated us, at 11am, with a
beautiful
, sparking clean, sweet smelling, king size room, complete with sitting area/couch, and a balcony overlooking their peaceful pool and courtyard.
