1. Several visits from maintenance didn't solve the problem (I can deal with dirty walls and an uncomfortable bed, but A/C in new Orleans is kind of a necessity).

5. They helped us with our inquiries over the course of our 4 days in new Orleans: suggesting restaurants, tours (not being pushy at all either), and making change for the street cars for us.

6. That being said - the hotel is close to everything - it's certainly not as bad as the Holiday Inn in the CBD that we stayed at over new years a few years earlier where I was actually afraid to go to sleep in there.

9. One major problem of this hotel is that there is no wifi in the rooms, just in the lobby, and there isn't that much space in the lobby to use the wifi, especially if you're in new Orleans for a conference and so is everyone else that week.
