1. Couple blocks walking distance from Bourbon street, I actually liked that location; seemed clear of the riff-raff.

8. The all of the staff was helpful and on point, the rooms were great and I liked the location (About 2 to 3 blocks from Canal St - cross that and you're in the French Quater; 10-ish minute walk to Acme Oyster House, about a 15 to 20 min walk to Cafe du Monde, 5 minute walk to the Ignatius J.
