1. The morning lounge hostess is also an artist -- they were just hanging some of her work in the lounge and it was much more exciting than the generic corporate art that was there.

2. Anyway, overall my hotel of choice whenever in NOLA - have tried the Interconn, Drake, Marriot and Wwestin and prefer the Hilton - smaller, friendlier and staff just generally nice.

4. However, aside from my original contact (Scott, who was wonderful) when I checked in, the front desk service was shockingly unprofessional and discourteous (loud banter among the staff, ignoring me while I was standing there waiting for help, generally not interested in helping.

7. An abundant continental breakfast is served on weekdays, and a generous supply of drinks and fruit are available at all times.
