3. If you require a brand new, ultra clean & shiny, cookie cutter hotel with a starbucks in it then I recommend you stay at one of the big hotel chains on Canal St.

8. No, it's not four star as one supportive reviewer said but what's the excuse to not pull down the peeling wallpaper or have more than one lamp in a room? Our fourth trip to new Orleans and we thought we'd stay a new place but we won't stay there again.

10. This was my first trip to NO and I have stayed at nice new hotels but if you do that then you tend to miss out on hidden gems like this one.
