1. I absoutely recommend The Olivier House if your looking for a historic french quarter home, amazing staff, great prices, close to Bourbon, but not so close that the noise is bad.

8. As someone else said, you are steps from Bourbon Street but far enough that the noise is not a huge issue (except, as with ANY hotel in the French Quarter, the garbage trucks run at 4 a.

9. When we arrived late, we were put into a room that was on the street and were unable to sleep due to the noise and horribly uncomfortable bed.
