1. Bottom line: If you want to treat yourself a little better than your usual bargain hunter stay, you really should try the Intercontinental Hotel in new Orleans.

3. You can walk to any of the new Orleans urban attractions, although you'll probably want to take the streetcar if you go to Audubon Park or to the universities.
