1. Bottom line: If you want to treat yourself a little better than your usual bargain hunter stay, you really should try the Intercontinental Hotel in New Orleans.

3. To note, I have stayed at the W, the Royal Sonesta, and the Crowne Plaza previously, and all were better/nicer and more modern.
