1. Staff here are wonderful and very helpful, it was the 2nd hotel we had stayed at and for the price and location would be the one I would go back to, it's a lovely building, highly recommended.

2. First the good:The location is wonderful - in the Lower Quarter, so in the more residential, quiet side, and only a few blocks from Jackson Square, Frenchman St, etc.

3. Some tips:- While the beignets at Cafe du Monde are a must at least once during your trip, you can have wonderful pastries without a half-hour line around the corner from the hotel at Croissants d'Or (on Ursiline).

10. Ah, if you get this room and wonder about the open tube showing from the ceiling above the hand basin, it is the drainage for the air conditioner unit which drains directly into the sink below.
