1. Now for the not-so good: We had a room overlooking the courtyard, which was nice, however the only windows in these rooms are in the door, which people walk right past - so we had to keep the shutters closed for privacy, otherwise people can see right into your room.

4. First the good:The location is wonderful - in the Lower Quarter, so in the more residential, quiet side, and only a few blocks from Jackson Square, Frenchman St, etc.

5. Had it not been for that, and the abysmal croissants at breakfast, I would have classed this as an excellent choice and good value.

6. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful and recommended some good places for us to go, and also provided maps, etc.
