1. It would have been helpful to get a general orientation to the services of the hotel, and to the surrounding area when we checked in (for instance, it took me a few days to figure out that they offered a complimentary continental breakfast each morning).
"Very comfortable stay for Mardi Gras! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/24/2012 Vote
2. As it was my first trip to NOLA, I wanted to stay somewhere charming and historic in the French Quarter, instead of the generic conference hotels.
"Okay - not for business travelers " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/15/2011 Vote
3. This hotel is in bad need of a overhaul: Carpets need cleaning; rooms need repainting--just generally shabby.
"Location, Location, but a Bit Shabby " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/16/2011 Vote
4. This is an older hotel with thick walls but the doors are also very old but not very sound proof for the noise generated by Bourbon St returnees at 2/3:00 in the AM.
"Very Nice Small Hotel! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2011 Vote
5. They were always ready to help with suggestions and generous with their time.
"When can we go back?" " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/31/2011 Vote
6. Staff was generally very courteous, provided nice security during Mardi Gras, and coffee was almost always available in the lobby (it was cold outside.
"Pleasant stay, right in the French Quarter " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/16/2010 Vote
7. I generally stop off in New Orleans on long drives between Texas and Florida, and this hotel is only a few minutes off I-10, and right smack in the French Quarter.
"Have stayed here many times over the years, always come back " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/3/2010 Vote
8. It seemed that the biggest gripe everyone had was about the bathrooms, general cleanliness and the damp smell.
"Charming room, but old plumbing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/18/2009 Vote
9. The only real negative was a less than generous continental breakfeast of coffee and danish so we walked over to the Cafe du Monde for beignets and coffee which was only a block or two away.
"Nice hotel; will go back again. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/20/2008 Vote
10. Also, I know NOLA can be stinky, but our room on the first level was quite musky (a term not familiar w/the staff or perhaps the South in general).
"Not too shabby " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/4/2006 Vote
