4. Some rooms on first floor open onto courtyard or pool area, so people are right outside your room all day-the pool and courtyard areas are a nice place to unwind.

5. Now for the not-so good: We had a room overlooking the courtyard, which was nice, however the only windows in these rooms are in the door, which people walk right past - so we had to keep the shutters closed for privacy, otherwise people can see right into your room.

9. The room itself is pretty basic: no fridge, microwave or coffeemaker, but it's still nice and clean and charming.

10. This hotel is set up like a motel in that the doors to the rooms are accessible from the outside, but the rooms surround a courtyard and pool area, so the room doors are not facing the street, which is nice.
