1. While we certainly enjoyed everything the French Quarter, and the rest of New Orleans, had to offer, the elegant Le Pavillon was a welcome oasis at the end of the day.

4. The pluses include the lovely swimming pool, the elegance of the building, the helpful and kind staff, the location -close to the quarter but far from the quarter noise- and the 10pm peanut butter sandwiches.

7. Our only complaint was regarding the cost of eating in the dining room, which while elegant is too expensive for breakfast, but there are places close by we were able to walk to, and sometimes we did so-a special favorite was Deanies a seafood restuarant about six blocks away.
