1. Personally, I'd prefer to stay downtown to really get a taste of Nashville, but I can't complain about the hotel at all.

2. There are many restaurants within the hotel, something for every taste.

3. I can't say that we ate at any of the restaurants (as my meals were provided by the conference and my husband and daughter went offsite to meet up with family during the days), but there does seem to be an excellent selection of restaurants to meet any taste.

4. I had a steak one night (at a catered event) that tasted like it came from the steak house.

5. Outside of the meetings, we found restaurants and bars that fit everyone's taste; from laid back to almost out of hand, from Italian to Steaks from dressy to casual.

7. -There is also an iPhone App that has maps and lets you make reservations at the restaurants-The quick rundown of restaurants we tried: Old Hickory Steakhouse (pricey but AMAZING), Solario/Mexican (very good, try the sangria sampler and the guacamole), Wasabi's Sushi (tasted good but hard to eat--the rolls weren't rolled well), Fuse Sports Bar (yummy hot dogs, but the fries were just okay, lots of tvs), Cascade's American Cafe (decent food--a solid choice)-The airport shuttle leaves a few minutes earlier than advertised, so make sure you arrive at least 5 minutes before the hour or half hour-We travel a lot, and this is one of the hotels where we felt like prices in the shops and restaurants weren't way over the top-We had a suite and it was very tastefully decorated, clean, and the beds were comfy.
"You know what you're getting with a Gaylord, so a few tips... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/8/2012 Vote

9. It's priced like you are in NYC and the quality is OK, but it has the preparation imagination of Waffle House and pretty much a uniformly bland taste.
"Great Scenery, Overpriced, mediocre food " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/28/2011 Vote
10. Room was tasteful, well constructed, comfortable, and quiet.
