1. The staff were pleasant enough at check in, however were unable to accommodate our request for a smoking room (had requested this in our booking through Expedia, though the hotel had no record of it).

The staff was very accommodating, the room was wonderful with all the amenities and a great mattress/bedding, the atmosphere of the place is spacious and yet cozy, with lots of little nooks to eat/visit in (decor is 'charmingly-quirky-stuck-in-the-70s-on-purpose'), and the location within Nashville is perfect.
