1. But be careful if you are there when there is a concert at the conveniton next door it could take you hours to get to the hotel and there is some construction going on at the entrance on the street so that also adds to the problem.

2. I think people in the area are really stuggling to make ends meet; so, you can negotiate a good rate; but, you can also be taken advantage of if you are not careful.

3. I suspect the shuttle was paid by the hotel; and, working for tips only; as, each traveler was being charged a different amount; so, be careful to establish the amount before you get into the shuttle (something we should have done but did not do and it may have worked out, anyway).

7. the location of the hotel is very practical if you are in town for business or for shopping, we didn't care much about staying in south beach because it's very touristy and crowded and we didn't care much about the beach (it was raining anyway).

9. We went the first morning downstairs (regency floor breakfast ends at 9:30; downstairs breakfast is until 11) and had our breakfast only to be served a bill which we were told 'Will be taken care of by the reception upon check-out.
