2. If you're not too picky about hotels, La Quinta is probably acceptable for a short stay before your cruise, but don't expect anything fancy, especially for what you pay.

3. You CAN hear jet noise in your hotel room but it's well insulated enough that the noise level is acceptable.

4. The wait staff could not speak English (I am bilingual and could not get my point across in English or Spanish), the cleanliness was NOT acceptable, and the food was a cheap imitation of what I remember as Bennigan's food (which doesn't say much).

5. One employee was responsible for checking in a line about 10-20 people long, directing housekeeping staff via walkie-talkie, accepting deliveries from vendors, answering the switchboard phone, answering questions from current guests walking up to the counter, and booking day tours.

But what really impressed me with this hotel was the response that I received after I did a online survey giving my overall experience and recommendations:'First and foremost please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience you received during your stay, and for not receiving the proper services you surely deserve.
